Biofreeze could be better than TENS

Here is a link to an article on the use of Biofreeze pain relief gel in lower back pain. Biofreeze gel was compared to TENS in the treatment of lower back pain in a number of patients and results were comparable. However, since Biofreeze is considerably less expensive than TENS treatment the authors concluded that Biofreeze may be a preferable treatment than TENS for low back pain.
